    2. certainly — пожалуйста, конечно, что за вопрос (характерно и основном для устной речи, выражает готовность выполнить просьбу; в отрицательной форме выражает решительное несогласие): Can I bring a friend of mine to the party? — Certainly. — Можно мне прийти n гости с другом? — Пожалуйста!/Коиечно!/Что за вопрос! Can I take your car, father? — Certainly not. — Можно взять твою машину, nana? — Конечно (же) нет, нельзя.
